Jackson Township, Mahoning County Ohio is accepting resumes for a part-time zoning inspector. This position is responsible for enforcing local zoning codes, reviewing permit applications, and conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Minimum Qualifications: (1) High school diploma or equivalent; (2) Basic knowledge of zoning regulations, land use, or building codes; (3) Ability to read and interpret maps, site plans, and legal descriptions;

Beginning Wednesday July 1st, 2026, Mahoning Ave will be closed on the EAST SIDE of the intersection at Bailey Road West bound traffic from SR 45 will NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS to Bailey Road NORTH & SOUTH Mahoning Ave will be OPEN to the North Jackson Dunkin & Dairy Queen stores main driveways. PUBLIC NOTICE: Special Meeting Notice for Jackson Township Trustees on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 1:00pm, Executive Session for Zoning Inspector Interview.

In observance of Juneteenth, Jackson Township offices will be closed on Friday, June 19. Regular office hours will resume on Monday, June 22.
