Road Closure Update - Begins May 11

ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE!!!!! The bridge for the culvert on Mahoning Ave WILL be completed and open prior to the NEW road closure listed below.

Beginning Monday May 11th, 2026, Mahoning Ave will be closed at the intersection of Bailey Road. (Pictured below- RED LINE)

For approx.. One-hundred twenty (120) days to complete the construction of a roundabout as part of the Mahoning Ave Industrial Corridor Upgrade Project in North Jackson.

Bailey Road will remain OPEN for both NORTH and SOUTH bound traffic.

Posted detour route will be:

ALL TRAFFIC DETOUR:

Mahoning Ave - SR 45 – US 224 – SR 534 – Mahoning Ave.

The posted detour route for larger vehicles will be: 

Mahoning Ave East to SR 45 South- US 224 West -SR 534 North- Mahoning Ave.
